Novis Pura
Crystal Clear Adhesive-Free Surface Protection Film
Novis Pura is a crystal clear surface protection film that clings without adhesive. It holds to the surface by self-cling rather than glue, so there is no adhesive to age, transfer or leave residue — making it suited to glass, acrylic, polished and optically sensitive surfaces where residue is unacceptable.

Overview
Protection with no adhesive to leave behind.
Every adhesive protection film is a trade-off: enough tack to stay on, little enough to come off clean. Remove the adhesive and the trade-off disappears. Pura clings by intimate surface contact rather than by glue, so nothing is left behind when it is removed.
That makes it the right specification for surfaces where residue cannot be tolerated or cannot safely be cleaned off — optical glass, acrylic and polycarbonate sheet, high-gloss laminates, and polished surfaces where solvent cleaning would damage the finish.
The film is clear rather than opaque, so the surface stays inspectable while protected. Parts can be checked for defects, matched for colour and read for markings without stripping the film.
No adhesive, no residue
Clings by surface contact rather than glue. There is no adhesive layer to age, transfer, or require solvent cleaning after removal.
Inspect without removing
High clarity means surfaces can be checked for defects, colour and markings while still protected.
Safe on sensitive finishes
Suited to acrylic, polycarbonate, optical glass and high-gloss surfaces where adhesive residue or solvent cleaning would cause damage.
Repositionable
Can be lifted and re-laid during application without losing cling or marking the surface.

Questions
Novis Pura FAQs
How does a film stay on without adhesive?
By self-cling — the film is made smooth and conformable enough to hold against a smooth surface through intimate contact, without a glue layer. This is why it works on glass and acrylic but not on textured or heavily grained surfaces, where full contact is not possible.
When should I choose adhesive-free over adhesive film?
Choose adhesive-free when residue would be unacceptable or unsafe to clean off — optical surfaces, acrylic, high-gloss finishes. Choose adhesive film when the surface is textured, the service life is long, or the part will be handled aggressively, since adhesive holds better under mechanical stress.
Can Novis Pura be repositioned during application?
Yes. Because there is no adhesive to break down, the film can be lifted and re-laid during application without losing cling or leaving a mark on the surface.
Will it stay on during transport?
On smooth surfaces under normal handling, yes. Self-cling holds well against flat pressure but is more vulnerable to lifting at edges under sustained vibration than an adhesive film. Where transport is long and rough, an adhesive-based film is the safer specification.
